Job Title: SAP PS Consultant

Experience: 5–10 Years
 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant with 5–10 years of strong hands-on implementation experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SAP PS configuration, integration, and full-cycle project implementation, along with experience in S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Configuration

• Configure core SAP PS components including:

  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

  • Networks & Milestones

  • Project, Planning & Budget Profiles

  • Settlement Profiles

• Set up coding masks, user status management, validations, and substitutions.

• Manage budgeting, cost planning, revenue planning, and period-end closing activities.

• Configure Results Analysis (RA) and settlement processes.

• Support localization requirements for Indian customers.

2. Integration

• Integrate SAP PS with:

  • FI/CO

  • MM

  • SD

  • PP

  • PM

• Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops and blueprint discussions.

• Ensure seamless cross-module integration and data consistency.

3. Project Execution

• Gather and analyze business requirements.

• Design and deliver effective SAP PS solutions.

• Support SIT/UAT cycles and manage defect resolution.

• Prepare detailed test scripts and documentation.

• Support cutover activities and go-live.

4. Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide functional support.

• Optimize existing PS configurations and processes.

• Prepare functional specifications and user guides.

• Provide post-go-live support and enhancements.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of strong hands-on SAP PS experience.

• Deep knowledge of:

  • Project structuring

  • Budgeting & Cost Planning

  • Results Analysis (RA)

  • Settlement processes

  • Indian localization requirements

• Experience in S/4HANA PS.

• Strong understanding of integration touchpoints with other SAP modules.

• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.

• Proven experience in at least 4+ end-to-end implementations and multiple rollout/support projects.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to:

  • CATS

  • PPM

  • Investment Management

• Experience in customer-facing consulting roles.

• SAP PS Certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• SAP PS certification (preferred but not mandatory).
