As Manager – Accounts, you will be responsible for:
Manage the end-to-end accounting function, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, project-level accounting, and month-end, quarter-end, and annual closures with complete accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure statutory compliance related to GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other regulatory filings. Stay updated on regulatory changes and proactively implement process updates.
Lead statutory, internal, and external audits. Prepare reconciliations, supporting documentation, and reports to ensure smooth audit processes and timely closures.
Prepare and finalize financial statements, cash flow statements, and management reports. Provide insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
Drive improvements in accounting processes, ERP implementation or upgrades, inventory and project-level controls, and resource utilization tracking to enhance operational efficiency.
Handle export, import, and forex-related accounting requirements, ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance for international transactions.
Partner with operations, project teams, and leadership to embed finance processes across functions. Provide clarity and guidance to stakeholders on financial practices.
Guide junior team members, foster a learning-oriented environment, and ensure effective knowledge transfer across the finance function.
Identify opportunities to leverage tools, technology, and AI-driven solutions to enhance productivity, reporting, and compliance.
Post-CA qualification experience of 2 years, with Articleship from a Big 4 firm, followed by experience in a construction company
Strong foundation in accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audit, and financial reporting
Experience with ERP implementation/upgrades, high-volume transaction management, and process optimization
Working knowledge of export/import and forex regulations is preferred
Familiarity with employee benefit accounting and related documentation is an advantage
Exposure to construction, infrastructure, or service-based organizations is valued
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, with openness to adopting new tools, including AI-driven solutions
Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to interact effectively with teams and stakeholders
Strong ownership mindset, integrity, adaptability, and a solution-driven approach in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel occasionally for business requirements
