Marketing Content and Strategist
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Content Writer and Strategist who can translate complex legal-tech concepts into clear, compelling stories that attract, educate, and convert PI law firms across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation – Web, Blog, and Long-Form.
Write SEO-optimized blog posts, guides, playbooks, and checklists aligned with priority keywords and GTM themes (PI case management, AI for PI, mass torts, intake, operations, etc.).
Draft landing page copy for product features, solutions, practice areas, and campaigns that converts visitors into demo requests.
Develop case studies that showcase customer ROI, workflow transformation, and the value of the broader CloudLex ecosystem.
2. Funnel & Campaign Content.
Create content for email campaigns – newsletters, product announcements, nurture sequences, webinar invitations, and event follow-ups.
Write sales enablement materials including one-pagers, email templates, presentations, brochures etc.
Draft comparison pages, feature pages, content that supports sales conversations while staying accurate and legally safe.
3. Social & Thought Leadership
Write social media copy that highlights thought leadership, product value, customer results, and GTM narratives.
Repurpose our in-house publication’s content into CloudLex marketing assets (while respecting its editorial positioning).
Collaborate with leadership to turn their ideas into LinkedIn posts, op-eds, bylines, and speaking abstracts.
4. AEO, SEO & AI-First Content
Optimize existing and new content for AEO (Answer Engine Optimization): clear headings, concise answers, FAQ sections, and AI-friendly structure.
Partner with the Marketing analyst to add FAQ schema, HowTo schema, and other structured data, and support llm.txt and other AI-readiness initiatives.
Write content that can be easily reused by AI search engines (ChatGPT, Bing Copilot, Gemini, etc.) to recommend Company.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with the Video Producer to script and outline video content (feature walkthroughs, customer stories, explainers, webinars, ads), and repurpose video into blogs, shorts, and social snippets.
Work with the Customer Success (CS) team to identify happy clients, interview them, and turn those stories into strong case studies, testimonials, and quotes.
Partner with Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, Sales, and CS to ensure content supports live campaigns, product launches, and sales priorities.
Help reach out to reputable industry experts, legal-tech influencers, and media in the U.S. (in collaboration with marketing leadership) to co-create content, quote them in articles, and expand Company's reach.
Qualifications
5–6 years of experience in B2B content writing, ideally in SaaS, LegalTech, or a complex/regulated industry.
Strong portfolio of blogs, landing pages, case studies, and email copies that show clarity, structure, and conversion focus.
Solid understanding of SEO basics (keyword intent, meta tags, internal linking, on-page structure).
Comfort writing for different stages of the funnel – from awareness blogs to bottom-of-funnel comparison pages and sales assets.
Ability to interview subject-matter experts (lawyers, ops leaders, product teams) and turn messy conversations into sharp narratives.
Excellent written English with a focus on clarity, precision, and credibility – no fluff.
Preferred Skills
Experience writing for U.S. audiences (especially professional services like legal, finance, or consulting).
Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) for research, drafting, and idea generation – and an understanding of their limitations.
Exposure to answer engine optimization (AEO), schema markup, and structured content for AI/LLM consumption.
Experience collaborating with designers and video teams to bring content to life visually.
