Junior Microsoft Purview Security L1 Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for Microsoft Purview L1 Engineer to support day-to-day monitoring, triage, ticket handling, evidence collection and reporting for Microsoft Purview compliance and data protection operations.
The role focuses on (Mandatory)
DLP alert monitoring,
Sensitivity label support,
Basic audit/eDiscovery assistance,
User query handling,
Escalation of privacy or data leakage incidents to L2/L3 teams.
Experience in purview implementation.
Strong experience in developing, customizing, and integrating Purview solutions with Microsoft 365/Azure services.
SC-400 or SC-401 certification, or who are planning to pursue either certification.
The candidate should understand Microsoft 365 workloads such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams, along with awareness of Microsoft Purview DLP, Information Protection, Audit and DPDP Act concepts relevant to personal data handling in India.
Required Skills:
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal.
Basic knowledge Microsoft Purview implementation and configuration
Strong experience in developing, customizing, and integrating Purview solutions with Microsoft 365.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention and Information Protection.
Awareness of sensitivity labels, sensitive information types, policy tips and audit logs.
Understanding of Microsoft 365 workloads: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
Basic understanding of DPDP Act concepts: personal data, Data Principal, Data Fiduciary, Data Processor, consent, notice, lawful purpose, erasure and personal data breach.
Basic incident/ticket management experience.
Good documentation and evidence collection skills.
SC-400 or SC-401 certification (or who are planning to pursue either certification.
