Required Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field ● 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering ● Strong advanced SQL skills (mandatory) with deep experience in Amazon Redshift ● Proven expertise in data modeling for analytical workloads ● Strong understanding of AWS data services, including:Amazon Redshift, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon EMR ● Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow ● Hands-on experience with Apache Spark ● Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, Java, or Scala ● Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and best practices
Nice to have ● Experience designing large-scale analytics and reporting platforms ● Familiarity with BI tools and downstream analytics use cases ● Experience with cost optimization and performance tuning on AWS ● Exposure to CI/CD for data pipelines
