Junior Payments Officer

On behalf of our client, a well-established Forex broker, we are seeking a Junior Payments Officer for their Limassol office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with account reconciliations by researching, resolving, and reporting discrepancies in collaboration with other departments
• Prepare regular (daily/weekly/monthly) reports on client funds, and compare fees between banks and PSPs
• Ensure timely, accurate trade settlements by monitoring fund schedules and verifying bank fees per agreements
• Communicate with counterparties and clients to resolve settlement issues
• Execute payments, including supplier payment
• Assist with cash flow preparation

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Prior experience in payments, accounting, or finance is preferred (within the Forex industry it will be considered as an advantage)
• Understanding of account reconciliation, trade settlements, and cash flow management
• Familiarity with banking fees and PSP processes is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams, counterparties, and clients
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
