Civil Engineer - Residential and Office Buildings

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to lead the design, coordination, and execution of residential and office building projects. This key role involves overseeing planning, development, and client engagement while ensuring full compliance with technical standards, budgets, and regulations. 

Responsibilities:

Planning & Design

• Assess plots for acquisition and evaluate project potential using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D
• Collaborate with architects to translate technical and aesthetic requirements
• Ensure designs meet internal standards, building codes, and quality benchmarks
• Liaise with quantity surveyors and MEP engineers to ensure budget-conscious, functional design solutions
• Oversee coordination and alignment of all consultants’ drawings and materials
• Review and approve bills of quantities and participate in contractor selection and negotiations

Project Development & Management

• Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and quality
• Ensure project adherence to timelines and budgets
• Verify material quality and approve payments based on progress milestones
• Oversee compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Supervise snagging and final handover processes
• Coordinate effectively with all project stakeholders

Client Interaction & Support

• Act as a technical advisor and point of contact for client queries
• Guide clients through customization options and cost implications
• Present project updates and technical reports in a client-friendly manner
• Provide after-sales support and resolve post-handover issues
• Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree or specialization in Structural/Project Engineering is a plus)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential and office building projects
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes for multi-story buildings
• Experience with sustainable and cost-effective building practices
• Familiarity with project management tools like Primavera or Microsoft Project
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
