Senior factory supervisor

Job Purpose

To supervise daily factory operations, ensure smooth production flow, maintain discipline on the shop floor, and coordinate manpower, materials, and machine usage for efficient plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily factory operations and ensure production activities are carried out as per plan.
• Allocate work to shop floor workers and monitor their performance.
• Ensure smooth coordination between production, maintenance, quality, stores, and dispatch teams.
• Monitor machine productivity and production targets.
• Check raw material availability and coordinate with purchase and stores for timely supply.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety rules, and company procedures.
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and work punctuality of factory staff.
• Identify production issues and support quick resolution to minimize downtime.
• Prepare daily production reports and submit updates to management.
• Support continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity, and workflow.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in factory supervision, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
• Good knowledge of production processes and shop floor management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer knowledge and reporting skills preferred.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, office/factory-based role at Moraiya unit.
• Salary: As per industry standards and candidate experience.
