Network and Cloud Engineer - Cloud Platform Team
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network and Cloud Engineer to join our
Cloud Platform team. This role focuses on the provisioning and management of various
resources in Azure, such as Network, Load Balancer, CosmosDB, Databricks, Event Hub,
Key Vault, API Management, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Azure Resource Management: Provision and manage various Azure resources,
including Network, Load Balancer, CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, Databricks, Event Hub,
Key Vault, and API Management.
2. Terraform Expertise: Utilize Terraform at scale for infrastructure as code, managing
Stacks, modules, and drift management.
3. Pipeline Management: Implement and manage Terraform pipelines using Azure
DevOps.
4. DNS Administration: Manage DNS settings and configurations to ensure optimal
performance and reliability.
5. Certificate Management: Administer SSL/TLS certificates, ensuring they are up-to
date and properly configured.
6. WAF Administration & CDN: Manage websites on Web Application Firewall (WAF)
and CDN to enhance security and performance.
7. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to cloud
infrastructure on time.
8. On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for
critical systems.
Required Qualifications:
1. Proven experience with provisioning and managing Azure resources.
2. Strong expertise in Terraform at scale, including Stack, Instances, drift
management, import, refresh, etc.
3. Experience with Terraform pipelines using Azure DevOps and Atlantis.
4. Excellent spoken and written English skills.
5. Strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to perform complex troubleshooting.
7. Availability to participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Azure or Terraform certification.
2. Experience with large-scale implementations and self-service strategies.
3. Knowledge of Atlantis, Terragrunt, Crossplane or Pulumi.
4. Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or
Go.
5. Knowledge of security best practices in a cloud environment.
