Job Summary:
The Facility Engineer (Fit out), The role requires a strong technical background in construction, project management, and MEP systems. The ideal candidate will coordinate modifications, maintenance activities, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities -
Assist in project planning, execution, and supervision of construction and refurbishment works.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility upgrades and repairs.
Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Monitor and ensure compliance with local regulatory and safety standards.
Review technical drawings, as-built plans, and O&M manuals.
Support in evaluating and improving energy efficiency measures.
Supervise outsourced service providers and ensure contract adherence.
Participate in vendor selection, negotiations, and performance reviews.
Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and ensure swift resolution.
Implement and improve risk mitigation strategies for critical systems.
Qualifications & Experience -
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management, construction, or MEP-related fields.
Strong understanding of BMS, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure.
Experience in managing contractors, project works, and maintenance operations.
Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
Key Skills -

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other facility management software is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations effectively.
