SPPID Designer
Minimum Qualification • Required: 3-year Diploma in Process / Mechanical / Instrumentation. • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Process / Mechanical / Instrumentation.
Minimum Work Experience • Total of 5–6 years of experience in SPPID. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industry / Refinery. • Knowledge of Engineering Data Editor (Reports & Finding). • Knowledge and working experience in SPPID. • Experience in MicroStation application. • Sound experience in SPPID Drafting (Fully Intelligent). • Good experience to independently handle modeling of Process P&IDs and PFDs from plant drawings and sketches. • Experience in creating new drawings, versions, and revisions.
Job Description (but not limited to) • Timely update of P&IDs and PFDs and associated data in SPPID as part of the facility changes and modifications. • Understand, evaluate, and maintain various types of P&IDs related data for the facility through SPPID. • Ensure that P&IDs related deliverables are updated in SPPID as part of facility change process within stipulated timeframe. • Verify changes on P&IDs as part of the facility change, including field verification as and when required. • Responsible for providing updated P&ID related information to project engineering, operations, and maintenance teams. • Create and maintain new P&IDs in SPPID as part of facility engineering requirements. • Manage As-Built changes in SP P&ID and resolve inconsistencies as per SPPID standard practice. • Utilize Drawing Manager, OPC Intelligent usage, and perform multiple representation activities. • Create instrument loops for instruments. • Check inconsistency reports and resolve errors. • Coordinate with other discipline engineers and designers. • Perform QA/QC checking of deliverables from EPC service providers / consultants (hard copy / soft copy). • Coordinate with software service providers during software upgrades, issue resolution, and enhancements.
