Cost Control Engineer

Job title: Cost control engineer

Job Responsibilties:

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Track project progress vs. planned budget.
• Review contractor invoices and verify cost accuracy.
• Assist in developing project cost estimates and budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and highlight risks.
• SupportJob  project team with financial data for decision-making.
• Ensure all cost-related documentation is accurate and updated.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, and engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with company cost control procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in cost control (Oil & Gas preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with cost control software is a plus.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
