Commercial and Procurement Manager

Qualification & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or Business Administration
• Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Construction/Project Management) is a strong advantage
• Professional Certifications (Highly Preferred)
• MRICS / FRICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
• MCIOB (Chartered Institute of Building)
• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (CQS) or equivalent
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (added value)

Experience

• 12–20+ years of progressive experience in commercial management within large construction, infrastructure, or EPC organizations
• Proven track record managing high-value projects (USD 50M+ / QAR 200M+)
• Experience across pre-contract and post-contract functions
• GCC experience strongly preferred (Qatar, KSA, UAE)
• Core Commercial Expertise
• Contract administration (FIDIC Red/Yellow/Silver Books)
• Claims management, variations, EOTs, and dispute resolution
• Cost control, cash-flow forecasting, CVRs, and financial reporting
• Procurement strategy, subcontractor negotiation, and contract awards
• Risk identification, mitigation, and commercial governance
• Value engineering and cost optimization
