QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. • Postgraduate qualification (MSc, MBA, or PGD) preferred. • ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 auditor certifications preferable. • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a senior role. • Excellent command of English & Arabic languages is preferred. • Proficient in MS Office tools is an added advantage.
1. JOB PURPOSE: Define, establish, and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS) for all products and materials . The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing quality policies, procedures, and standards to ensure product conformity, supplier compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role requires leading, motivating, and mentoring the Quality team to uphold international quality standards, achieve certifications, and maintain continuous improvement in all quality-related activities.
2. KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic: • Develop and implement quality strategies, policies, and frameworks to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant international standards. • Support the HSSEQ Manager and senior leadership in setting quality objectives that enhance product reliability, supplier performance, and customer trust. • Contribute to the preparation of the department’s budget and ensure efficient resource utilization. Operational: • Adherence to quality, health & Safety, Information security and business continuity policies. • Establish, manage, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) for products and materials. • Develop inspection protocols, testing procedures, and quality plans for raw materials, in-process activities, and final products. • Conduct supplier audits and manage vendor qualification programs to ensure compliance with material specifications. • Oversee laboratory operations and materials testing processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with standards. • Lead internal and external quality audits; monitor findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions. • Review and approve technical specifications, inspection reports, and material certifications. • Investigate product or material non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective measures. • Ensure compliance with national and international regulations governing product quality and material standards. • Maintain certifications and accreditations relevant to quality management and product/material testing. • Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve product or material-related issues. • Prepare and present quality performance reports and dashboards for management. • Develop and deliver training programs to raise quality awareness among employees.
2. KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: • Stay updated with new technologies, methods, and trends in quality assurance and materials management. • Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager as per business requirements. People: • Lead, coach, and mentor subordinates to enhance technical capabilities and professional development. • Ensure compliance with the company’s performance management system, linking outcomes to learning, career progression, and succession planning. • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the Quality department.
