Responsibilities: • Support the implementation of Qatarisation initiatives by identifying development needs, career pathways, and succession opportunities for Qatari nationals. • Prepare the annual training plan and training budget in coordination with the Head of Recruitment & Training and relevant stakeholders. • Adherence to quality, health & safety, information security and business continuity policies. • Coordinate and administer the Performance Management System (PMS), including goal setting cycles, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and performance improvement plans. • Analyze PMS outcomes to identify individual and organizational training needs and translate them into targeted learning interventions. • Design, implement, and continuously enhance induction and orientation programs for new joiners to ensure effective integration into the organization. • Plan, organize, and coordinate training programs including classroom training, workshops, on-the-job training, coaching sessions, and external learning programs. • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, presentations, and learning resources to support various development initiatives.
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, evaluations, and discussions with department managers, and recommend improvements as required. • Liaise with internal stakeholders to assess the relevance and impact of training initiatives and ensure alignment with departmental objectives. • Support the development and execution of succession planning and talent development initiatives, particularly for high-potential and Qatari employees. • Track training attendance, costs, and outcomes, ensuring adherence to the approved training budget. • Maintain accurate training records, reports, and documentation for audit, reporting, and compliance purposes. • Stay current with developments and best practices in learning, development, and performance management, and recommend applicable improvements. • Coordinate with external training providers, institutes, and consultants to ensure quality delivery and value for investment. • Perform any other duties relevant to the role as assigned by the line manager in line with business requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Learning & Development, or a related discipline is preferred. • HR or Learning & Development professional certification is preferred. • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in training, learning & development, and/or performance management. • Proficiency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is preferred. • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications.
