Job Summary

We are looking for a Specialist – Operations to support the planning, coordination, and day-to-day management of healthcare operations.

The role will focus on improving performance, productivity, efficiency, patient flow, resource utilization, quality, and operational outcomes. The position will work closely with clinical, operational, quality, patient access, and patient experience teams to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management and coordination of clinical operations.
• Plan and organize daily departmental operations, schedules, and activities.
• Support operational planning, development, budgeting, and business operations.
• Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor operational performance metrics and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Support optimization of patient flow and access.
• Coordinate with relevant clinical and corporate departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Support quality, safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, including the use of LEAN principles.
• Support the development and implementation of clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with staffing plans, departmental budgets, and schedules.
• Monitor resource utilization, productivity, costs, and operational targets.
• Conduct analysis related to utilization, revenue enhancement, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Support audits of operational performance and departmental expenses.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve processes and workflows.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new procedures and revision of existing procedures.
• Support departmental projects, business development activities, outreach events, and other assigned initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with different stakeholders and contribute to employee and patient satisfaction.
• Perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Discipline, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience in data analysis and developing meaningful insights.
• Experience in operational planning and delivery.
• Experience identifying and implementing improvement initiatives.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing professional documents such as memos/SBARs.
• Healthcare experience in the Middle East is preferred.
• Hospital experience with a clinical background is preferred.
• Experience using project management tools.

Certifications

• Certification in Project Management or Process/Quality Improvement such as PMP, Six Sigma, or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
