You will work closely with our sales team, providing technical guidance and support to help our customers understand and implement cutting-edge networking solutions. You will be responsible for articulating the value of our network switch products, answering technical queries, and assisting in the design and customization of solutions tailored to meet client needs.

Provide expert-level technical support during the pre-sales process, including answering technical questions, troubleshooting, and resolving concerns.

Perform product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and assist customers with technical evaluations.

Engage with customers to understand their pain points and offer tailored recommendations.

Documentation & Proposal Development:

Assist in the creation of technical proposals, tender responses, and RFP (Request for Proposal) documentation.

Produce network diagrams, schematics, and documentation to support sales presentations.

Product Knowledge & Training:

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in networking technologies, particularly around network switches, and communicate these to internal teams and clients.

Train and mentor sales teams on the technical aspects of network switch products.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including technical decision-makers, to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.

Work closely with the post-sales team to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience:
-
5-6 years of experience as a Pre-sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role, with a focus on network switches or networking hardware.

Hands-on experience with leading network switch brands (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Huawei, etc.).

Technical Knowledge:

Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including Layer 2/Layer 3, VLANs, STP, QoS, OSPF, and BGP.

Familiarity with network design, IP addressing, subnetting, and network security principles.

Skills:

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Experience with pre-sales tools, demo environments, and solution design software.
