The Sales Manager for Travel Retail Asia plays a pivotal role in collaborating with the Head of Asia and Global VP TR to achieve the regional sales targets, execute the business strategy, and foster seamless coordination among regional, international, and corporate cross-functional teams.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Asia Travel Retail Client Relations: Serve as the primary daily point of contact for Asia Travel Retail clients, ensuring exceptional account management and addressing their needs effectively. 2. Sales Order Support: Assist in processing sales orders for Asia Travel Retail clients, maintaining strong customer relationships. 3. Sales Performance Tracking: Continuously monitor and report regional sales performance (Sell-Out and Sell-In) against targets on a weekly/monthly basis, presenting insights to management. 4. Budget Management: Develop and manage the Travel Retail marketing budget and Profit & Loss (P&L), producing monthly reports comparing actual performance to budgeted figures. 5. Coordination of Marketing Activities: Coordinate marketing and promotional initiatives, supervise supply chain activities, and manage invoices to ensure efficient execution. 6. Assortment Performance Analysis: Proactively analyze the performance of assortment sets, providing recommendations to the global team in New York for enhancement. 7. Business Strategy Development: Assist in formulating a business strategy aligned with sales targets, utilizing insights and market trends to drive growth. 8. Distribution Opportunities: Identify new distribution opportunities within the region and devise strategies for expansion. 9. Competitor Analysis: Monitor and report on main competitors'; activities within the region, including pricing strategy and positioning, on a monthly basis. 10. Data Management: Maintain comprehensive market data files, including SAP records, door count, assortment details, pricing, launch information, and product codes. 11. Event and Trade Show Planning: Collaborate in the coordination and planning of events and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
Skills Required: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related fields. 2-4 years of relevant experience in Marketing, Sales, or Brand Management (Travel Retail industry experience is an advantage). English native speaking proficiency (or equivalent level) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience working in an international company is a plus. Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism. Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Adaptable and capable of learning in a fast-changing multicultural environment.
