An immigration law firm specializing in U.S. and Israeli business and family immigration law in Tel Aviv is looking for an immigration attorney.
The firm is looking to represent their diverse client base with a focus on business immigration law. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and critical thinking abilities, outstanding administrative skills, and a strong academic background. Legal Duties:
- Draft professional and precise applications and arguments for submission to U.S. Embassies and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of clients.
- Represent clients at U.S. Embassies and consulates in relation to consular-based applications.
- Identify and address legal and practical issues for each case, determining appropriate actions at each stage while adhering to proposed timelines.
- Communicate professionally with a wide range of clients, managing their expectations through phone and email discussions.
- Oversee all aspects of cases, performing additional duties as required.
- Stay informed about developments in business immigration law, contributing to the firm's thought leadership and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in legal marketing events, including roundtables, conferences, and webinars.
Requirements:
- A law degree from a prestigious university.
- Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
- A minimum of two years of experience in U.S. business immigration.
- Membership in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is a plus.
- Native-level proficiency in English is required, with advanced Hebrew skills seen as an advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of L-1, Blanket L, H-1, E, O-1, B-1 visa categories, as well as employment and family-based green card applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and connect with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively, with flexibility to occasionally work outside normal office hours.
- Eagerness to take ownership of their caseload and demonstrate initiative, even under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with office technology.
